Huge thanks for the donation of blankets and Oodies that came in for our Duke House premises, these winter days are getting chilly so it’s wonderful to be able to offer clients (or staff!) something to keep them warm and snug in their sessions.

A tremendous day celebrating the opening of Duke House!
Thank you to all who were able to attend our Duke House opening events last Friday, despite being a bit muddy underfoot, it was a truly sunny and joyous occasion. It was a chance to catch up with friends, supporters and our extended YIT community. A pre-dawn blessing set the scene for a glorious day, followed in the afternoon by speeches, tours and afternoon tea.

What an amazing opportunity!! Our very own Trustee Sanjay is now sharing his wisdom across the ditch. Sanjay has helped so many of our young people overcome anxiety/depression so we are delighted to share he is now helping so many others.
Volunteers needed for The Hope Shop
WE NEED YOU! We are currently looking for volunteers to join our team at the Hope shop - a volunteer lead and run second hand shop in Manly village.
Scoring big at the Golf Fore Life charity golf tournament
Youth in Transition held its annual golf tournament on the 23rd February and once again it was a fantastic day for all. $75,000 was raised for the charity’s programme, Journey Back to Awesome.

We had the privilege of being joined by Jess Dyson from Redefined Coaching where our team got to hear Jess’ lived experience of eating disorders, as well as an education session on key skills in helping clients who are battling eating disorders.

A huge thanks to First Training who came to Duke House this week and hosted a first aid refresher for our staff. A fun day brushing up on our first aid knowledge and skills.
