Doing Life Together!

The Hope Shop

The Hope Shop was birthed from humble beginnings. It all started with a pop-up op-shop fundraiser sale at a local community hall. The purpose of the fundraiser was to help more young people receive counselling services from Youth in Transition. Thanks to the generosity of a local business owner, the opportunity arose to set up an op shop in a vacant shop space in Manly Village.

The Hope Shop was launched on 6th July 2019 and since then it has opened its doors four times a week with an amazing team of volunteers giving their time to mind shop. We look forward to entering an exciting new season and continue to grow and develop the shop as an opportunity to further resource the work of the YIT Trust. The Hope Shop is open Monday to Saturday selling women's and men's designer branded clothing.

Youth in Transition is proud to work in partnership with a range of local organisations who share a common vision to enhance the well being and prospects of our young people.

Collaborations

Our strength is found in the many partnerships, collaborators and willing volunteers. This has included support building our offices, helping a young person learn to paint and financial investment into Youth in Transition. It is the generous joining of hands across our community that enables our care and work with so many young people and their families. Thank you to everyone who contributes to our success.
