“Our mission is to fund and deliver quality, timely mental health interventions so no young person in our community has to reach the point of crisis, and even more tragically, die by suicide through the lack of help, or financial difficulties.
Simply put … we don’t want money to be a barrier to a young person getting the support they need, when they need it.”

DESPITE REPEATED HIGH PRAISE FROM MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FROM GOVERNMENT, THE TRUST STILL DOES NOT RECEIVE GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES OR FUNDING.
It is heart-breaking that when our services are at capacity we have had to turn away so many young people in crisis who have reached out to us for help.
As a priority, we would like to raise funds to employ another, desperately needed, counsellor, to enable us to meet the demand for our critical service within our community.
Our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters for helping young people find a life worth living.
"The demand for our services is always high, but never higher than now, with young people finding the lockdowns and restrictions particularly challenging. We have had a 50% increase in clients over 4 months, with no increase in staff or funding. Our clinical team and army of volunteers have had to dig deep to keep up. While a small number of counselling sessions are paid for by clients and their families, the vast majority - a whopping 97% - are provided at no cost to the client. This is because our aim is to fund and deliver support to any client that comes to us, regardless of their financial situation. Simply put, we don't want money to be a barrier to a young person getting the support they need, when they need it".
