Mentoring Programme Launching

We are very excited to let you know that we are getting ready to launch our new youth mentoring programme – Coast Mentoring! We know there are a number of young Coasties out there who could do with a mentor to support them on their journey. That’s why CYC Trust and Youth In Transition have teamed up to introduce this programme to our community. In partnership with Upside Youth Mentoring, we believe that our young Coasties can step into a brighter future through building a caring and trusting relationship with one of our incredible team of Coastie volunteer mentors.

To celebrate the introduction of this programme to our community we are hosting a launch event. We would love you to celebrate with us as we get started on the mentoring journey!

Event Details

When: 7pm, Thursday 22nd October
Where: Whangaparaoa Library
What: We are inviting our community to join us as we celebrate the launch of our new youth mentoring programme. This is also an opportunity to learn about the programme and how we will be supporting our young Coasties.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
