A number of our young people have been attending the art activities held by the Estuary Arts Centre in Orewa on Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm. Our life coach, Nat Fox, narrates that the participants are not only learning new skills but are bonding and supporting each other. Some of the activities to date include making clay masks, screen printing, painting, beading and mosaic designs. Nice work to everyone involved.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
