Welcome Nick Schanschieff to Youth In Transition!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our valued supporters – we are proud to welcome Nick Schanschieff as our new Operations Manager. This key appointment is a significant step in advancing YIT's mission and ensuring the continued growth and success of our organisation.

Nick comes to us with a wealth of experience, having previously worked with Maidwell Hall, part of Uppingham School in the UK. His expertise in operational management, gained from overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 52-acre estate, makes him a valuable addition to our team. Nick brings with him extensive knowledge in people leadership, compliance, health and safety, and estate maintenance – all crucial components for the effective delivery of our services to clients.

As we embark on the next phase of YIT's journey, Nick will be working closely with our Director, Tina Jones, to implement strategies that will further enhance our impact. The Board of Trustees is confident that Nick's skills and dedication will contribute significantly to the growth and success of YIT.

Andrew Hoggard, YIT’s Trust Board Chair, expresses his enthusiasm for Nick's appointment, stating, "This is a new role for us at YIT, and we are very confident Nick will build on the excellent foundations we have already established and take YIT to the next level."

Nick has also said, "I am very excited to be here and to be part of the YIT community. I'm looking forward to meeting and being a part of the larger community of paid support and volunteers who make all the work possible."
