We need you - volunteers for The Hope Shop needed

We are on the lookout for volunteer superstars to join our team at The Hope Shop one day a week for 3-4 hours. We have both casual and permanent shifts available, especially over the summer.

The shop hours are 10am to 4pm Monday - Saturday. Retail or clothing experience is helpful but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided by our friendly team members.

The role includes customer service, sorting and pricing clothing and promoting the work done by YIT so a passion for the local community and YIT is an essential part of being part of The Hope Shop team.

100% of profits from The Hope Shop go directly to Youth in Transition to support the work they do with young people.

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
