One of our fabulous Trustees, Merv Huxford, recently turned a personal challenge into a fundraising opportunity for Youth In Transition. For a long time he had a goal to cycle from his farm, east of Kaiwaka, to Orewa. The busy SH1 meant this 80km trip was a dangerous prospect for a cyclist – until Level 4 lockdown came in. He grasped the opportunity and in the process raised over $14,000 for the Trust.
