Celebrate The Hope Shop’s 1st birthday with us!

What a wonderful journey it has been over the past year! 

When we first opened last July, we were a ‘pop up shop’, and never imagined that we would still be here 12 months later! We are so grateful for the support, enthusiasm and love shown by our Hope Shop community.

All proceeds from The Hope Shop go towards supporting Youth in Transition, and we are delighted to announce that over the last 12 months, we have donated over $20,000 to the charitable trust! 

To mark the special milestone of The Hope Shop’s 1st Birthday, we are holding a Celebration & Clothing Auction this Saturday, and we would love you to join us at the shop in Manly Village from 1.30pm. There will be limited seating so do come along early. 

We have set aside a special collection of items for the occasion – follow our event Facebook page here for some sneak peaks throughout this week!

The shop will be open from 9.00am – 4.30pm as usual on Saturday. 

In addition, on Saturday we’ll launch our Hope Shop Birthday Raffle. Tickets will be on sale throughout July, with the draw taking place on Saturday 1st August. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the new Mentoring programme, which Youth In Transition is co-designing with CYC Trust.  Look out for more details soon!

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
